ABOUT THIS CONFERENCE

The Medicine, Accountability and Law (MAL) Conference considers the ethical and legal implications of aspects of medical practice in the context of Nigerian law. It examines the duty of care responsibility of the licensed practitioner and explores regulatory and policy implementation levers for accountability, good governance and safe practice standards. The theme of the 2019 conference is ‘Avoiding negligence through good medical practice’. The MAL 2019 conference focuses on the key issues of medical negligence, reproductive health and the bioethics of assisted conception.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
